Seattle – Music Events! 2

Having a world-class orchestra play a Beethoven symphony is a wonderful experience and hearing it on a CD cannot compare!

From April 22 – 25, 2010, if you are in Seattle, seriously consider attending the Seattle Symphony for the performance of Beethoven’s Fifth Symphony. The program includes the following pieces:
Haydn: Symphony No. 93 in D major
Dutilleux: Cello Concerto, Tout un monde lointain *
Beethoven: Symphony No. 5 in C minor, Op. 67

* Note: The Dutilleux work will not be performed on Sunday.

The Seattle Symphony is conducted by Roberto Abbado and this concert features Xavier Phillips, cello.
