Seattle – Visitor’s Information Centers

Yes, Seattle is organized for visitors who know what they want and for those who are visiting without doing much research ahead of time. It is worthwhile to ask your concierge questions, if you are at a hotel which provides one, but what if you don’t have this resource?

Well, head over to the Seattle Visitors and Concierge Services Centers. There’s one at 7th and Pike (Convention Center) and another at 1st and Pike (Pike Place Market Center).

These Seattle Visitors Information centers offer friendly, courteous service and immediate assistance with attraction, sightseeing and tour information. The staff will also assist with dining recommendations and reservations. You will be outfitted with an appropriate pack from their array of maps and hand-outs.

The information centers are a complimentary service of Seattle’s Convention and Visitors Bureau, and they operate year ’round!

The first center is a full-service concierge desk which is open from 9am-5pm daily in the summer and Monday through Friday during the winter months. It is on the lobby level at the Washington State Convention and Trade Center building.

The second center is at the SW corner of 1st Avenue and Pike Street and is open daily from 10am-6pm. This fast-paced center offers more limited services, but will help you best enjoy Pike Place Public Market and downtown choices. You can also learn a lot about the public and private transportation options to help you see Seattle.

If you arrive without accommodations, both centers’ staff can help you with that information and reservations, too.

You can contact them by phone or email, too, at 206.461.5888 or 206.461.5840 or visinfo@visitseattle.org .

Enjoy the Emerald City. It’s a beautiful place!
